I am a dealmaker and entrepreneur, specializing in strategic business consulting, M&A, negotiation and corporate finance, focused on the energy industry and Latin America. I have founded and led businesses with particular emphasis on the energy sector and have more than 20 years of experience in M&A advisory services and which has led international energy firms to invest billions of dollars for energy-related projects in the region.
Also, I have successfully led financial restructurings for multiple ventures, and has accrued deep experience in corporate advisory and litigation for large multinationals. Before becoming Potentium’s CEO, I have led, as head of Latin America, the development in the region of the different firms that today are part of the group, and I was also the CEO of Sinergia Total. Previously, I was a partner specializing in energy at the law firm JNF & Asociados, after a successful career at the reputable New York law firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP.
I hold a B.A. (Honors) in Law from UCAB; a MA in Comparative Jurisprudence (MCJ) and postgraduate studies in Business Management from New York University. I also hold a Diploma in Negotiation from Oxford University. Additionally, I have been admitted to the New York Bar (licensed attorney at law in the state of New York).
